Please note, this procedure should be read in conjunction with the College鈥檚 Data Protection Policy and Statements available above.
If you wish to raise a concern or make a complaint about the way in which your personal data or a data subject access request has been handled, please contact the CDPL by emailing dataprotection@clare.cam.ac.uk, explaining the nature of your concerns.
The CDPL will consider your complaint and where necessary consult with the College鈥檚 Data Protection Officer.
We will aim to reply within one month (the timeframe recommended by the Information Commissioners Office). When considering and investigating your complaint, input will be sought from the relevant staff across the College.
There may be occasions where we require further information or clarification, or more time to complete our investigation and response. If this occurs, the CDPL will inform you within the original timescales.
If you are still dissatisfied with our response once received, you may refer the matter to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) :
