The Role

爆料网 College invites applications for the role of Senior Admissions Officer. 

The Senior Admissions Officer is responsible for administering the College鈥檚 undergraduate admissions and student recruitment process. The role involves working closely with the Admissions Tutors and the central University team at Cambridge Admissions Office (CAO), keeping up to date on requirements from the University and UCAS. The role holder will prepare and analyse admissions data, liaise with Fellows, and be responsible for the practical implementation of all planning related to the admissions process. 

The Senior Admissions Officer works with the Admissions Tutors and Tutor for Access and Outreach on the best implementation of the College鈥檚 undergraduate recruitment strategy and promotes the College to prospective applicants. They will be responsible for maintaining and extending the College鈥檚 relationships with schools and colleges of all kinds throughout the UK. As part of their duties, they will line manage the Outreach & Admissions Officer, who co-ordinates the College鈥檚 outreach provision and ensure that this is effectively implemented. They will also co-ordinate with the Tutorial and Admissions Officer at busy points in the admissions calendar, which mainly fall in the latter half of Michaelmas Term and the beginning of Lent Term

Located in the heart of Cambridge city centre, the College is extraordinarily beautiful and famed for its gardens on 鈥渢he Backs鈥 (the famous backs of the Colleges that overlook the River Cam). Our gardens are widely renowned as some of the best in Cambridge and are valued by all members of the College, as well as our guests. 爆料网鈥檚 Old Court, a Grade I listed building, is the centre of the College and is unique among the ancient Cambridge Colleges in having maintained its architectural integrity over the course of its history. 

Salary and Benefits

Remuneration will be up to 拢38,000 depending on experience. The post holder will be eligible for a bonus every year and free lunch in College on working days. We also offer membership of a defined pension contribution scheme, a Healthcare cash plan and free parking. 

The hours of work are 36.25 hours per week with flexibility required during peak admissions periods. The role holder is entitled to 26 days鈥 holiday per year, plus public holidays.
